Cool DIY gift you can do under $5

This one is my favorite gift to do of all times. As a tea lover myself I feel like I would appreciate this gift a lot if received and it's basically just a thoughtful way to give someone cheerful and intimate moments throughout their weeks.

The premise of this gift is kind of the same as those jars filled with personal messages, quotes, song titles etc. but this time made it even better adding it to tea. Like come on, who doesn't love their cuppa.

*I feel like this gift works extremely well with the British*

Step 1

So the first step is to know whether or not the person you would like to gift it to likes tea. The answer is probably yes, so you need to find out what kind of tea they like because one may love a chai but hate green tea or something.

Step 2

Collect any message you would like them to read, it can be any of the already mentioned types or you can get even more creative and let's say command them to open Friends, skip to episode 4 of season 6 and skip to 3:11. There are no rules, really. Even small messages saying you miss them can make somebody's day.

Step 3

Fit the texts in Microsoft word.

Step 4

Print it.

An alternative to these two steps is to hand write it, so you make it more personal but I just thought of the gals with bad handwriting or just wanting a more polished finish.

Step 5

Cut it (I recommend a cutter but it really doesn't matter)

Step 6

Wrap the messages like they're letters. I used the help of Pinterest to fold the envelopes. Glue them to the end where the sticker thing should be.

Step 7 (optional)

Decorate the box.

And just like that, you created a meaningful little gift under 5 euros. Excellent for broke students that we all are, and we even had a little crafty time with it.
